1. How to Enter

Enter via the Chester Zoo Frost Fair website competition. Entries close at 5.00pm on Sunday 13 January 2008. You must submit your complete name, street address, postcode, and email address. All entrants must have a valid email address. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorised account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorised Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organisation (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Chester Zoo, its affiliates, partners, promotion and advertising agencies and any entity involved with the administration or fulfillment of this competition are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, Web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorised human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one's ability to enter the competition.
All entries become the sole property of Chester Zoo and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Delivery of prizes requires a street address (no P.O. Boxes). Chester Zoo is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Chester Zoo.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open only to legal residents of the UK, age 18 and over OR to minors, provided that the entry is submitted by a responsible adult on behalf of the minor. Employees, Trustees & directors of Chester Zoo, and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. This competition is governed exclusively by the laws of the United Kingdom. Competition may only be entered in or from the UK and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry.

3. Drawing

Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about 15 January 2008. By entering the competition, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the competition.

4. Prizes

One Prize: Admission to Chester Zoo for a family of four (two adults and two children) plus Chester Zoo Gift Vouchers to the value of £66.00. Total prize value £100.00. Visit must take place before 14 March 2008.

5. Notification

Winners will be notified by email. If winner cannot be contacted, if any prize is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of noncompliance with these competition rules and requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Limit one prize per person or household.

6. Additional Terms

Chester Zoo reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this competition should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorised human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the competition. In such case, Chester Zoo will select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Chester Zoo. Chester Zoo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the competition or Web site.

7. Use of Data

Sponsor will be collecting personal data about participants when they enter the competition online, in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review our privacy policy at www.chesterzoo.org. By participating in the competition, entrants hereby agree to Chester Zoo’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted our privacy policy.
