Volunteering opportunities

Do you have time for a good cause? Would you like to raise money to help towards the numerous conservation and education programmes that Chester Zoo runs? If so then become one of our fundraising volunteers!

Although this volunteering does not involve working with the animals, you will still be making a vital difference towards our fundraising at the Zoo. Activities often include; helping out at events, selling raffle tickets on and off site, penny counting and admin support with mailings.

Our volunteering is on an informal, ad hoc basis and we will notify you in advance of when we may need you for an event. As our volunteering activities on-site often involve working with our visitors, enthusiasm and good social skills are a must. We have a policy that all volunteers must be over 16 years old and are able to supply two references.
