Chester in Bloom AwardFor the second year running, Chester Zoo picked up the trophy for best tourist attraction.

The 2008 Chester in Bloom prize giving ceremony held at the Queen Hotel, Chester, was hosted by Chester’s Lord Mayor Cllr Brian Bailey. Prizes were presented for the seventeen categories in a ceremony conducted by Master of Ceremonies, gardening expert, journalist and television presenter Jenny Hendy.

For the second year running, Chester Zoo picked up the trophy for best tourist attraction. It’s a double celebration as Chester has retained the title of Best City in the RHS North West in Bloom competition, this is the seventh year Chester has won this prestigious prize. The award was presented at the Liverpool Arena.
