Pin Badge Trading

Anyone can trade pin badges!

There are opportunities for you to trade pin badges with team members and visitors across the Zoo. Pin badge trading is encouraged in the shops themselves and at special trading posts on site. Also any staff member wearing a Chester Zoo lanyard can be traded with.

HOW TO TRADE WITH OUR TEAM

Locate a team member or a zoo visitor wearing a green lanyard.
Choose the pin badge of your choice, which you are happy to trade.
Ask the team member or zoo visitor if they are happy to trade their Chester Zoo pin badge for yours.

EXCLUSIVE PIN BADGES

Exclusive pin badges cannot be purchased, they are only available to trade from our team members and are limited in number.

DATED PIN BADGES

Dated pin badges are for sale during the stated year only, these will not be available for purchase beyond this date. You can, of course, trade!

SPECIAL OCCASSION PIN BADGES

These pin badges will not be in the catalogue as they are made to limited supply for a special event or occassion. So check out the pin trading posts for details.

You can buy pin badges at the Ark and Fountain Shops, there is also have a dedicated pin badge kiosk near Marmot Mania!
