Please note that this room will be closed for a short time as we prepare it for the Wild Winter exhibit

Wild Winter in the Joseph Banks Room is on every weekend from 5th December to 31st January 2010 and is open daily from Saturday 19th December to Sunday 3rd January and is one of the many great things to do as part of the Festive Fun activities over the Christmas period.

As you step through the doors, you will experience all the sights, sounds and maybe even the smells of a British woodland in winter. You can take a torch and wander freely through the trees to see what you can find. Lots of animals will hiding amongst the trees and plants, but don't worry, they're all models or soft toys

Our team of presenters will always be on hand, bundled up in winter clothing and lurking in the undergrowth. They can answer your questions and perhaps point out some of the shyer animals. If there's anything you'd like to know, just ask!
