Field Programmes
Chester Zoo has 10 major field programmes, working on a variety of species and habitats worldwide in order to achieve our mission to help save species threatened with extinction.
We have an ongoing commitment to these field programmes, some of which we have been continuously supporting for over 15 years. Each programme has a species or regional biodiversity focus and we have strong partnerships out in the field. Many of the programmes require expertise from a variety of Chester Zoo staff including conservationists, keepers and education staff.
