Chester Zoo Studentships
The Chester Zoo Studentships are awarded annually, and provide support for projects that benefit the conservation of biodiversity, provide a capacity building opportunity for student scientists and further partnerships between academic institutes and the conservation research facilities that Chester Zoo is able to offer.

Richard Hughes Scholarship
In memory of Richard Hughes, a senior keeper at Chester Zoo who tragically lost his life working with the elephants that he loved, Chester Zoo runs an annual scholarship award. The Richard Hughes Scholarship supports individuals wishing to undertake activities or projects concerned with elephant management, welfare or conservation.
