Technical Support

Many of our Chester Zoo staff have specialist skills and knowledge, and are strongly involved in advocacy roles, helping steer decision making groups and implementing conservation strategies nationally and internationally.
It is becoming increasingly important for us to provide professional support to our field programmes both in the UK and around the world. This technical support links the professional expertise and opportunities of the zoo world to global conservation efforts.
Every year, a number of Chester Zoo staff from conservation, veterinarians, education staff and animal keepers travel abroad to work with our partners out in the field.
