Psychology Workshop:

Primate Behaviour

This presentation, referring to numerous Chester Zoo examples, focuses on attachment behaviour found within the primates.

In particular we will look at:

• diversity of primates in general and discuss reasons for studying these animals

• caregiver-infant interactions and their roles in a variety of primate species

• behaviours to look out for when observing primate behaviour in the zoo
