Colleges and Universities

Many colleges and universities benefit from our taught sessions (Discovery Programmes) in science, psychology, business studies, leisure and tourism. Our sessions can be pitched to the level of your students.

Students use the Zoo as a resource for a wide variety of research and study, taking advantage of our Library as well as our animal and plant collection and the Zoo as a business. 

Our Discovery Programmes are 50 minutes long and run at four time slots on each week day during term time (10.30; 11.30; 1.00; 2.00).  We have three teaching rooms and take up to 20 students in each.  For out and about sessions the maximum group size is 15 but with early booking we can run 3 sessions simultaneously.
