Animal Behaviour

AS/A2 Animal Behaviour  

Designed to illustrate aspects of the AQA Psychology specifications  (Unit 3 Topics in Psychology) and using audio-visual examples of behaviour likely to be seen in species found here at Chester Zoo, this session includes:

classical and operant conditioning (including phobias) and social learning,
evolutionary explanations of intelligence (including social behaviour and ecological factors),

intelligence in other primates (including examples of self-awareness, communication and tool use).
