Primate Behaviour Out and About

During this ‘around the Zoo’ teaching session, the students will be accompanied on a tour of different primate species (including chimpanzees).

Observable behaviour will be discussed as well as:

the social organisation of species visited
communication (visual and auditory)
social learning including memory, hunting in groups and imitation
the identification of individuals
