Library

Our Zoo Library houses an extensive collection of zoological, horticultural, conservation and veterinary material with books, journals, reports, student projects and conference proceedings.

It is also the home of our zoo archive collection which covers the history of Chester Zoo from 1932 to the present day.

Members and students visiting the zoo are welcome to use the Library by prior arrangement as a quiet study area and utilise its resources.  Three workstations, with internet access, are available.

The Library is part of the Cedar House Admin Offices, with access from the zoo between the Aquarium and Giant Otter enclosure.
