Colourful Collage

Cheetah

This is a self-led trail designed for 3 different areas of Chester Zoo.

It has been designed with the younger children in mind. The trails focus on exploring the many colours, textures and patterns of the natural world using our downloadable activities. The aim of the trails is to develop children’s observational and language skills as they explore the Zoo.

Choose from ‘Spot the Spots’, ‘Pick a Colour’ or ‘Islands and Water’. Each file contains drawing activities and some simple instructions for the group leaders. After the visit create a colourful collage of your own back at school based around the patterns and colours your class have discovered.
