Savannah Bird Trail

This self-led trail explores the habitats of Tsavo in Kenya, Africa via the walk-through Tsavo National Park Bird Safari at Chester Zoo.
Pupils will explore the different ways birds in Tsavo have adapted to survive in this difficult habitat. This trail also links with Chester Zoo’s conservation programmes involving savannah animals.
