Zoo Animal Welfare - out and about

New - autumn and spring terms only

The Zoo Animal Welfare session is also available as an ‘around the Zoo’ tour, led by an Education Officer. It can be booked either independently or to complement the classroom session, and will visit various exhibits in the Zoo, enabling a closer look at how the welfare needs of a selection of species are met.   We take up to a a maximum of 20students in our classroom sessions and 15 in our out and about sessions, but with early booking 3 sessions can be run simultaneously.
