Visitor Attractions

This session gives students an overview of Chester Zoo as a family visitor attraction, and will cover the following areas:

▪ the Zoo’s mission and charitable status
▪ the visitor profile
▪ income and expenditure
▪ location and catchment area
▪ management and operation
▪ the use of technology in the Zoo
▪ marketing
▪ staffing structure
▪ what we provide for the visitor

Suggested activities and lesson plan 

Please note that there is considerable overlap between the Visitor Attractions, Marketing and Customer Care presentations. Therefore, only one should be booked for the same group of students.
