Classification

In this Explorer Trail you will find out how and why living things are classified into groups.

Using examples from around the zoo pupils will investigate the characteristics of the five vertebrate groups. This trail is designed to complement our curriculum-linked KS3/4 ‘Classification’ Discovery (formal classroom) Session but can be used as a stand-alone zoo trail.
