Elephants are the largest land animals on the planet. But there's much more to them than that. They're highly intelligent and social creatures, who communicate in many ways, such as by touch or using body language.

Of course, they can also 'talk' to each other through trumpeting - but they also communicate using infrasonic sound. That's sound where the frequency is too low for us to hear.

Asian elephants are different from African elephants in a few ways. They're slightly smaller in size, have much smaller ears and more of an arched back. Asian elephants are also more agile and can use their feet in conjunction with the trunk for moving objects.

Although being tiny in comparison, rock hyrax are actually the elephants closest living relatives - sharing several common features.
