I've been watching the Our Zoo series with great interest - having been a visitor to the zoosince I was a small child in the early 50's - the polar bears were my favourites then!
I can remember climbing sandstone steps and climbing onto a seat on the elephants back and enjoying a walk looking down at everyone smiling and waving, and having a great view.
