June's Pavilion

Our new family restaurant is the result of a £1 million redevelopment – and it shows. Bright, spacious and gleaming, it’s packed with freshly prepared, family-friendly food. It won’t cost a paw and a tentacle, either.

We named the restaurant after June Williams, the daughter of our founder, George Mottershead. June has devoted her life to working in and around the zoo, and this seemed a nice way to say thank you!

Have a look at the options below - there are children’s versions of everything.

You’ll find June’s Pavilion near the Fun Ark and the tiger enclosure.

Fresh Pizza & Pasta

We bake every pizza fresh for you, and serve it with coleslaw and garden salad.

Family Filler: Whole pizzas from £11

Fish & Chips

All our (sustainably sourced) fish comes with hand-cut, freshly cooked chips. Or choose from June’s Favourites – a different selection of scrummy pies every day.

Family Deal: £24 for main courses for two adults and two children, all served with mushy peas or salad.

Burger Bar

Our hearty burgers burgers are made from prime local meat, and served in locally baked, crispy hand-made buns.

Family Deal: £22 for two adult burgers, two children’s burgers, four portions of Pavilion’s Fries, two corns and salad.

Deli  Counter

Our deli is brimming with quick, healthy snacks, soups, sandwiches, salads and bagels.

Ice Cream Parlour

A gorgeous selection of local speciality ice-cream, sundaes and cool sodas – as well as fresh coffee!
