Combination ticket

Buy a combination ticket from your local train station at the same time as your rail ticket and it includes your return bus link from Chester station to the zoo AND your zoo admission in one discounted price.

The combination ticket can be bought over the counter at the train station (or on the train) at the same time as your train fare, or separately if you already have a valid rail ticket for that day.

Zoo bus link

Up to and including 28 May you can take the Upton Park & Ride bus from the station. You can check the timetable here.

From 29 May, the X8 bus links Chester Station to Chester Zoo. You can check the bus timetable here.

Also from 29 May, you can either pay the driver on the bus or use the zoo combination ticket, available from your train station.
