Members' Talk - Photosafari

Wednesday, February 15, 2012

penguins - small - 2For many people, an African, South American or Asian wildlife safari is simply out of the question.

In this talk, Ron will demonstrate how a family day out to a zoo, aquarium or wildlife park can become a photographic safari in its own right.

There will be indispensable hints and tips for any hobby wildlife photographer; from the basics of planning the visit and selecting the right equipment to guidance on specific groups of animals.

Ron will guide the keen amateur through the steps which can make every zoo visit an enjoyable and memorable one.

The talk will be illustrated by a selection of Ron’s own images, now available in book form, and will include a summary of the publishing process.

Interested in attending? Call Kate in Education on 01244 389444 or email k.brankin@chesterzoo.org to book your place.
