Our photography workshop provides a fantastic opportunity to learn more about your camera and capture great photos around the UK’s top zoo.

This exciting one day workshop is packed full of tips and techniques that can be used when capturing our amazing animals.

The workshops are led by award-winning photographer and wildlife filmmaker Sue Flood. Sue has a passion about the use of still and moving images to engage people’s interest in the natural world.

Sue has won many photographic awards and her experience includes working on the BBC series The Blue Planet and Planet Earth, alongside Sir David Attenborough, as well as her first book Cold Places which features her favourite images from 15 years working in the Artic and Antartic.

The workshop is aimed at beginner/intermediate level enthusiasts and will combine a mixture of classroom theory in the morning, followed by a practical session around the zoo in the afternoon.

The workshops start at 9.30am and end at 4pm on Saturday 4 March, Saturday 22 April and Saturday 20 May 2017.

How to book

The price is £150 per person and includes entry to the zoo, morning refreshments and lunch. Hurry though, as places are limited.

Workshop details

The session runs from 9.30am to 4pm with morning refreshments and lunch included in the price.

There will be a maximum of 16 participants and each will receive a certificate at the end of the workshop.

Sue Flood

Sue has a passion about the use of still and moving images to engage people’s interest in the natural world.

Having won many photographic awards including being named as International Photographer of the Year (Travel and Tourism) 2009, Sue’s adventures have taken her from the Arctic to Russia, Vietnam Japan, Africa and throughout the South Pacific.
