Join us on Thursday 20th April for an exclusive talk on our annual conservation expedition to Ecuador.

In January 2017 we ran our fourth annual conservation expedition. A team of twelve members of staff, led by our Director General Dr Mark Pilgrim, travelled to Ecuador to assist with our ongoing project researching and monitoring the Endangered Ecuador amazon parrot. Threatened by habitat loss and poaching, this species is in great need of our support. The team was made up of staff from all areas of the zoo including Guest Services, Security, Retail, and the Animal and Plant Teams.

Join us on Thursday 20th April to hear all about how Mark and the team got on!

Members’ Talks are held in the Lecture Theatre (near the Zoo’s Main Entrance off the A41), and start at 7:30pm.
