Moth and Butterfly Masterclass

If you'd like to learn more about our British wildlife, why not sign-up to a FREE masterclass!

Jan Miller, local author, award winning garden designer and owner of Saith Ffynnon Wildlife Plants joins us to share her expert knowledge about marvellous moths and beautiful butterflies. Having volunteered for Butterfly Conservation for nearly 15 years and being a prominent member of many other local conservation organisations, her wealth of knowledge makes her a key champion for conserving and creating brilliant butterfly habitats in the local area.

Come along to…

• learn which plants you can grow to help our fluttering friends
• find out cool facts about their fascinating lives
• get to grips with the basics of moth and butterfly ID
• have a go at checking a moth trap
• wander around the gardens to see which species you can spot

All you need to bring with you is…
• a notepad and pen to make notes
• a coat or sun cream (depending on the weather!)
• walking boots or other suitable shoes for walking outdoors for an hour or so

• bags of enthusiasm for helping marvellous moths and beautiful butterflies!

Lunch will be provided, so please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.
