Come join us at Chester Zoo for the second National Great Ape Welfare Group Workshop.
Building on from the success of the Bristol meeting in 2019, we’ll be hosting a two day workshop for zoo professionals covering topics such as great ape introductions, wild chimpanzee behaviour, social network analysis, animal habitat design, environmental enrichment and gorilla bachelor management. It will be BIAZA accredited with a workshop on evaluating great ape behaviour, and there will also be an opportunity to see some of the great ape facilities at Chester Zoo. The event will also be a great network opportunity to meet and discuss topics with other ape keepers and zoo professionals. plus there will also be an opportunity to bring a poster on any interesting great ape research or information you wish to highlight.
