Get immersed in the outdoors and discover British wildlife in our Chester Zoo woodland site. Work as a team to build dens, use tools to make animal habitats and create your own natural artwork using items collected from the woods.

This two day fun filled club will be facilitated by Forest School trainee practitioners and will bring together wildlife conservation and the essence of forest school and exploring the outdoors.

*This event is exclusive for Junior members aged 8-11.*

Woodland Adventure Club Activities:

  • Wildlife surveys and recording
  • Making bug hotels and bird feeders
  • Natural navigation and mapping
  • Den building
  • Natural art work
  • Team work
  • Problem solving in the outdoors

Date: Choose between Sessions take place on either Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 August OR Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 August

Location: Meet at Cedar House Reception, Caughall Road. The event will take place outside of the main zoo in zoo woodland across from Cedar House.
