This time our Junior Ranger Camp will be looking at how we work to Prevent Extinction. Over the 5 sessions you’ll discover the amazing work our field teams do to help species in the wild.
From critically endangered fish in Latin America to endangered elephants in Asia, now it’s your chance find out what it takes to save these species and much more!
The training camps run every Sunday for FIVE weeks. You can choose from Sunday morning sessions (10.30am – 12 noon) or Sunday afternoon sessions (2pm – 3.30pm).
Each week we will explore different parts of the zoo and learn about our animals and conservation work. We have lots of fun activities planned!
We have adapted our sessions to ensure all our Junior Rangers have fun whilst following the latest government guidelines. Our Junior Ranger Camps do not include any hands-on contact with any of the animals in the zoo, or behind-the-scenes access to any keeping areas.
This Junior Ranger Camp is for Junior Members of Chester Zoo who are in school years 4-6 at the time of the event. No adult or concession tickets available.
Dates: 6 march, 13 March, 20 March, 27 March, 3 April
