Junior Ranger Camp – Under the Water

Did you know that more than 70% of our planet is covered with water? Let’s explore the fascinating species that are found in fresh and saltwater around the world!

A typical junior rangers may look like this (please note topics and timings may vary):
10:30am – Drop off at the Conservation Education Hub
10:40am – Introduction to the exciting topic we will be delving into over the 5 weeks camp
11am – Time to explore some of the amazing species that live at Chester Zoo
11:30am – Let’s test our knowledge with an animal quiz and play some fun games
11:50am – Final questions and feedback
12pm – Pick up from the Conservation Education Hub

Who is it for? Junior members in primary school years 4-6. Children should be booked into the school year group they are currently in. The school year runs from 1 September – 31 August.

What is included?
5 sessions on Sunday mornings.
Lunch is not included

Please note: to ensure animal and public safety, none of our junior ranger camps include access to behind the scenes areas, and we will not be handling any of the animals that live here at the zoo.
