Join our Zoo Rangers for an exciting introduction to some of the ways we help to protect nature and the environment around us. Plus, learn what you can do to make a difference!
A typical “introduction to” course may look like this (please note topics vary):
2pm – drop off at Joseph banks room
2:15pm – introduction to topic
2:35pm – talk from keeper/scientist
2:55pm – activity in zoo
3:45pm – final questions and feedback
4pm – pick up
Who is it for?
Young people in secondary school years 10-12. Children should be booked into the school year group they are currently in. The school year runs from 1 September – 31 August.
What is included?
2 hours of activities in the zoo.
Our introduction to course does not include any hand-on contact with any of the animals in the zoo, or behind-the-scenes access to any keeper areas.
