It’s very early days but our keepers say the youngster has been up on its feet and suckling.
In order to give mum and calf time to bond, we’ll be keeping the giraffe house closed for the next few days but, all being well, they’ll be out very soon. You’ll be the first to know when that happens!
We’ll also try and bring you the first pics as soon as we can. Do keep checking back for updates!
