It’s early days but both mum and calf are well. The calf is the third black rhino to be born in the last nine months, following the birth of Chanua in October 2012 and Dakima in March 2013.
As this is Zuri’s first calf the Tsavo rhino house will be closed for a few days. Thanks for your understanding.
