Five Asian short clawed otter pups were born in December, ready for their Christmas health checks!
The three girls and two boys were all given a clean bill of health and keepers expect them to start venturing out of their holts for the very first time early in the new year.
In the wild Asian short-clawed otters face increasing threats to their survival, so the news of these five fluffy arrivals is another successful milestone for the zoo.
