We want to thank you, our members, yet again for your incredible patience and support whist we’ve been affected by the coronavirus restrictions.
We know that it’s been frustrating to have to book a visit since we reopened and we understand that the huge demand for tickets has meant that it’s not always been easy to visit on the day that you wanted to.
So, our brilliant safety team have been working on a plan to get you all back to normal as quickly, and as safely as possible.
From 7 June onwards
We’re thrilled to let you know that, as of Monday 7 June, we have currently removed any need for member booking. This includes weekends and is a little earlier than we had originally thought. This means you’ll be able to enjoy a visit to the zoo whenever you like and won’t need to let us know that you are coming. Please keep an eye on this page or our FAQs for the latest updates.
We will need to keep an eye on the numbers of people arriving each day and changing restrictions but if there are any changes to our arrangements we’ll update our website and let you know.
We also ask that you scan our Test and Trace QR code when you arrive for each visit.
Visiting the Membership Office at the zoo
While we welcome so many of you back to the zoo for the first time this year, we are experiencing long queues for the Membership office at certain times of the day. Please be prepared to queue at peak arrival times and please don’t worry if we decide to issue you with a temporary card for that day. We simply want you to get into the zoo as soon as possible to enjoy your day! Our office opens at 9.30am so please arrive in plenty of time if you do need to pop in and see us.
