Barbara and Dr Garcia, along with our Director Emeritus, Prof Gordon McGregor Reid, were at an event to see the Amphibian Ark honour Prince Charles for his efforts to save the rainforest.

The event followed the discovery of a rare species of Ecuadorian Stream Frog, which has been named after the Prince.

His Royal Highness was presented with a glass model of the frog which has been given the name the Prince Charles Stream Tree Frog (Hyloscirtus princecharlesi).

The zoo has been a supporter of the Amphibian Ark for many years.
