The 2019 Taste Cheshire Awards are approaching, and we need your votes to win. We’re hoping to take home the Best Newcomer and Best Use of Local Produce awards this year.
After opening in summer 2018, we’ve welcomed huge numbers of our visitors through the doors of The Oakfield, and have held numerous successful events.
We have also ensured that all of our produce has been locally and sustainably sourced. Our Executive Head Chef, Ben Finchett says,
“I have sourced some local suppliers and local produce to keep it as local as possible. For example we’ve got asparagus on the menu from Formby, potatoes from a farm in Frodsham and the meat from a farm in Mickle Trafford. Championing local produce and suppliers is the main inspiration behind the menu, as well as seasonality.”
