Our keepers have been busy hosing down the elephants twice a day – ensuring they stay comfortable in the sun with a cooling shower.
With the recent warm weather conditions our Keepers have been providing refreshments for many of the animals, most notably the elephants.
Elephants just love playing with water, so hosing them down and encouraging them to play in the pool is a fun enrichment activity for all of the herd.
But it’s our two babies – Nayan and Jamilah – who have certainly been making the biggest splash.
