Meet some of South and Central America’s most spectacular species in our NEW Latin American Experience, perfect for two people.
Hang out with our two toed sloths Tina and Rico, deliver lunch to our ‘giant Guinea pigs’ the capybara and provide enrichment for our giant anteaters.
You’ll get exciting updates from our teams in the field who are working to conserve these species in the wild giving you the opportunity to get closer to conservation than ever before.
*All our animals, including sloths are free to move around their habitats as and when they like. Although we try to time our visit when they’re most likely to be visible, there’s no guarantee of seeing them up close and there will be no close contact with the sloths.*

Your experience
Will last approximately 2 and a half hours.
Get up close and help our keepers look after Latin American species including giant anteaters, capybara and sloths.
The opportunity to ask our keepers any questions you may have.

Terms and conditions
This experience is available for ages 16+ and includes zoo admission for the participants only.
Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including people with epilepsy; relevant phobias or known allergies; pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals.
Participants must be physically fit, able to climb a flight of stairs and walk around 3km across the zoo from one habitat to the next.
Whilst every effort is made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this cannot always be achieved. Please contact Chester Zoo before purchasing.
