Join our expert keepers on an ADVENTURE around the zoo’s South East Asian islands! Visit Monsoon Forest’s IMPRESSIVE rooftop canopy home to our Sumatran orangutans.
Venture high into the impressive rooftop canopy of Monsoon Forest for an exclusive chance to see our Sumatran orangutan family like never before. While you’re up there, you’ll find the best view in the whole zoo!
Your adventure won’t end there – you’ll continue your Islands journey visiting animals along the way. Join our keeper for lunch time with the Visayan warty pigs before heading to the Island of Papua New Guinea to meet the stunning Goodfellow’s tree kangaroo.
Our expert keepers will give you exciting updates from our teams in the field, who are working to conserve these South East Asian species in the wild, giving you the opportunity to get closer to conservation than ever before.
The entire cost of your tour will be used to support the important work our conservationists do to prevent extinction both here in the UK and across the globe. Thank you!

Your Experience
Will last approximately two hours.
Includes interaction with animals including the Sumatran orangutans, Visayan warty pigs and tree kangaroo, plus exclusive access to the rooftop canopy in Monsoon Forest.
Includes time with different keepers to ask questions and find out first-hand what it’s like to work with these incredible animals.

Please arrive at Adventure HQ 30 minutes before the start time of your Experience.
Participants must be physically fit and able to walk several kilometres around the zoo at pace, able to climb several flights of stairs and walk over uneven ground without difficulty.
Suitable for adults ages 16 and over.
Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including people with epilepsy; relevant phobias or known allergies; mobility issues, pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals.
Whilst every effort is made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this cannot always be achieved. Please contact us before purchasing.
