Join us for Planet Shark: Predator or Prey, an aquatic adventure appearing for the first time EVER in the UK. As soon as you step into our BRAND NEW immersive exhibition space, you’ll be transported under the sea into the domain of one of the world’s most misunderstood predators.
Planet Shark: Predator or Prey is FREE with zoo entry for all visitors! Leave the outside world behind as you dive into the mysterious underwater world of sharks – without even getting your feet wet!
When you enter the immersive world of Planet Shark: Predator or Prey at Chester Zoo, you’ll be surrounded by incredible underwater projections featuring stunning footage that tells the story of how important sharks are to our oceans, and the planet.
Promising fun and fascination for all ages. You’ll learn about the anatomy, biology and hunting strategies of the ocean’s oldest and most effective predators, as well as the global conservation efforts to protect them.
As well as the huge immersive gallery, you can marvel at awe-inspiring life size shark models, an extraordinary collection of real teeth and jaws, and extremely old and rare fossils – some up to 370 million years old.
Quiet hour: Every Sunday from 10-11am until 31 October, we’ll be turning down the audio and turning off the floor projections. Ideal for those that may find loud sounds and strong lights challenging. No need to pre-book, normal zoo admission applies.
