PRE-VISIT information
We know how important it is for you to ORGANISE your school visits down to the finest detail. As well as planning your route, to make sure you visit the wildlife you’ve been discussing in class, you’ll also want to know where the toilets, first aid and lost child points are, where to eat if it’s raining and how to avoid the gift shop until the end of the day!
We offer free pre-visits to teachers so that all the planning can be done in advance and you can relax and enjoy the visit with your pupils.
Once you’ve BOOKED your SCHOOL VISIT, simply contact us by phone or email (details below) letting us know the name of the school and the date of the school’s visit to the zoo. We’ll also need your name and contact details (phone and email) and the date you’d like to make your pre-visit.
We’ll then send you a letter to confirm your pre-visit which you’ll need to bring with you (or on your mobile device) on the day.
Relatives and friends are, of course, welcome to join you but we’re sorry – the pre-visit only entitles the teacher bringing a school to a complimentary visit.

*If you’re posting your form to us, it’s best to allow ten days for this to be returned to you. If emailing, we ask for a five day turnaround.
