CAMERA TRAP ACTIVITY
A lot of the work that we do at Chester Zoo is out in the wild all over the world. It’s so important that we protect species in their natural environments and learn about their habitats and their behaviours.
One of the ways that we can observe animals, is by putting up camera traps in different places. Camera traps take photos and short films when they sense movement or sound, so they’re able to pick up different animals that go passed them.
Try to figure out which species have walked passed in the camera trap images in this activity.
