DESIGN YOUR OWN ZOO!

Do you think your could build your own zoo? Which animals would you choose to live there?

This resource encourages children to really think about the habitats that are needed for the animals in a zoo. By asking important questions, like ‘How could you recreate a wild habitat?’ or ‘What will your animal need in order to be healthy in this habitat?’, children will be able to make important decisions when designing their zoo.

We’ve also included some additional activities like designing a zoo ticket, zoo map, writing different times with our Animal Talk Times schedule and some additional questions for older children too.
