Love it for Longer: A 5 round Sustainability Adventure. During the summer of 2021 there has been an exciting exhibition revealing how we can all become more sustainable. We are so proud of the steps we have already taken to reach our sustainability goals and look forward to sharing our achievements.Whether you are planning to visit the zoo or creating a project at school, we’ve created these activities to help your pupils learn about sustainability.
The tasks incorporate areas of the national curriculum such as English, Maths, Science and Art. We’ve given plenty of ideas to help you to make this project your own. We have suggested a running order and links to help you adjust the programme to your pupils’ needs.
The programme is divided into four main parts and a final challenge. See below for more information and to download the packs.
Alongside this we have created a Love it for Longer virtual workshop to complement this programme and we have designed this interactive session to fit in at any stage of the programme. We also have our 25 minute Ask Chester Zoo workshops that are perfect to give your pupils the opportunity to ask us directly any questions that may arise during the course of your Love it for Longer project.
For more information about either of these offers please contact learning@chesterzoo.org
