Leave a gift in your Will

We are Chester Zoo and yes, we are the UK’s number one zoo, but we're not just about the 20,000 extraordinary animals we look after or the 125 acres of award-winning gardens.

As well as giving our guests an unforgettable and inspirational day out, we are constantly working hard to find new ways to do conservation. It’s not just about the work we do here in the UK, but the ways that we act for wildlife all over the world. Our job is only going to get harder in the future with so many pressures on the environment.

If, like us, you care about nature then please consider joining us to act for wildlife.

Remember Chester Zoo

One way that can help us to continue our work is to consider leaving a gift to Chester Zoo in your will. That way, future generations can have the same wonderful experiences and be inspired by Chester Zoo and its animals and plants.

If you don’t already have a will, it needn’t be a complicated or expensive process but it is a very important thing to do. And if you already have your will sorted, it’s very simple to add minor additions, through something called a codicil. A good solicitor will guide you through the entire process as smoothly as possible, and many do fixed rates so you know the costs up front.

Remembering Loved Ones at Chester Zoo

The Giving Tree at Chester Zoo

Chester Zoo has been a backdrop for wonderful family memories, so it’s no surprise that we get many requests around remembrance and memorial options on site. We can help with enquiries about scattering ashes within the zoo grounds or memorial opportunities available such as the Giving Tree.

Please get in touch by calling 01244 650292 or by emailing development@chesterzoo.org.
