Flight of the Mantas
The majestic manta rays of Mozambique need our help to survive. Go on a deep dive beneath the clear seas off the coast of Mozambique with marine conservationists, where you’ll swim amongst manta rays. Swimming with the Humpbacks
Go on a dynamic educational journey as we search undersea and in the air, following a team of marine biologists who find a pod of humpbacks to the South Pacific near the island of Tonga. Beginning with a mating ritual, we soon come upon a newborn and its mother. We see how the behaviour of the mother evolves as the calf gets older.
This is a truly immersive and goosebump-inducing close encounter with one of the largest and gentlest mammals on the planet!

Non-members can pre-book their VR ticket online as an added extra when purchasing their zoo ticket, or on-the-day at the VR theatre.
Members MUST purchase their VR ticket on the day, where they’ll receive their discount by simply showing their membership card(s).
A few Terms and Conditions:
Experience lasts for approximately 7 minutes.
Open 7 days a week from 9:30am until zoo closing time, including weekends and school holidays.
This experience is not recommended for guests who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy, have back and neck problems or pregnant.
All participants must have a ticket for the zoo or a valid membership card.
We only accept card purchases for this experience.

Anyone under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.
