Bee masterclass

If you’d like to find out more in-depth knowledge about our native wildlife, why not sign-up to a FREE bee masterclass!

Tony Parker from Liverpool World Museum will join us to share his expert knowledge about our fabulous British bees. Bees are facing increasing threats from habitat loss, disease and changes in pesticide use, but we can all help to ensure that we don’t lose our precious bees.

Come along to...

• Learn about the threats facing our bees and how YOU can help
• Get pointers on how to identify different bees
• Find out how to provide the right habitats for our bees
• See which bees you can spot around the zoo!

You'll need to bring with you is...

• A notepad and pen to make notes
• Comfortable shoes and a coat or sun cream (depending on the weather!) for walking around the zoo for an hour or two
• Bags of enthusiasm for helping our bees!

Lunch will be provided so please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Where: Here at the zoo

When: 10am - 15:30pm on Sunday 12 August
