Invasive Species Masterclass

Invasive non-native species are the second biggest threat to global biodiversity. To learn more about protecting our native British wildlife from destructive invasive non-native
species, why not sign-up to a FREE masterclass!

Experts from North Wales Wildlife Trust will lead an engaging and informative skill-based workshop that will prepare you for taking action to protect our precious local wildlife!

Come along to...

• Learn about the different invasive non-native species affecting our region and how to identify them
• Get expert advice about what might work for you and your site
• Learn about the different species-specific techniques that are required to deal with invasive species
• Learn biosecurity procedures
• See how a site can look when invasive species have taken hold, and how difficult they are to control if you don’t act quickly

You'll need to bring with you is...

• A notepad and pen to make notes
• Comfortable shoes and a coat or sun cream (depending on the weather!)
• Bags of enthusiasm for helping our native wildlife!
• If you can…bring photos of your green space, particularly if you think there are invasive species on site

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring a packed lunch or there is a great café on site
