This habitat is home to one of nature’s fiercest hunters; the Komodo dragon.  Observe the largest lizard in the world and discover what other amazing species can be found here.

Step inside Dragons in Danger and come close to the powerful Komodo dragon – these reptiles are over two metres in length and love exploring.  Continue your journey through this habitat as there’s plenty more to discover here – including a number of beautiful birds like the secretive Luzon bleeding-heart dove, the critically endangered Montserrat oriole and the unique looking Tarictic hornbill.  Before you move on to your next destination don’t forget to search for the Mountain chicken frog – yes, it’s an unusual name for an amphibian – which got its name as it’s supposed to taste like chicken. But it’s a very special frog as there are less than 100 left in the wild!
